Barbara “Rena” Jasper Elliot passed away leaving behind a legacy defined by strength, faith, and a life fully lived.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, she was one of twelve children, raised in a close-knit family that shaped her resilience and deep sense of devotion. She carried that strength with her throughout her life, never giving up and always guided by her faith in the Lord.
Barbara lived with intention and made the best of every situation. She was someone people turned to for guidance, wisdom, and steady reassurance. At the same time, she brought joy and energy into every room, creating moments that drew people together and left lasting memories.
She found meaning in time spent with loved ones, in traveling, and in celebrating the holidays, which she embraced with warmth and spirit. Those moments reflected her gift for bringing people together and making life feel full.
Barbara had a special love for plants, tending to them with patience and care. To her, they were reminders of growth, renewal, and endurance. These were all qualities that she possessed and wished to develop in all who encountered her. In many ways, they reflected who she was rooted in faith, resilient through every season, and always reaching toward the light.
She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Her life, her strength, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will never be forgotten.
